I started my career in Bilingual Education in 2014 and have taught First Grade for 7 years. I have presented district PD on Spanish Reading Strategies and Spanish Phonics and Word Work and mentored future teachers. I have also worked on Curriculum & Instruction projects for First Grade Math and Reading and I enjoy creating resources that help students and teachers.

Earth Day is in April and it is the perfect excuse to practice a little poetry! This featured resource is the bulletin board inspiration and decor you need for the month. Students will practice identifying and generating adjectives and verbs related to the Earth and will create a POEM of their own with the template provided. To finish up, students will complete the Earth Day craft to go along with their poem. I get compliments year after year with this Earth Day display 🌎💚
